Rountree-Sikes Scholarship

The South Carolina Vending Association (SCVA), founded in 1972, is a not-for-profit trade association whose member companies are businesses that provide vending, food and coffee services to office buildings, hospitals, schools and manufacturing facilities.

One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an employee, or spouse or child of an employee, who currently works for a SCVA member company (Owner / Operator) based on several factors including financial need, academics and extracurricular activities.

The 2024 Rountree-Sikes Scholarship Recipients 

My name is Thomas “Davidson” Hyatt. My parents are Bobby and Daphne Hyatt. I am a 2022 graduate of Marlboro County High School where I was in the Beta Club, National Society of High School Scholars, and National Technical Honor Society. I am currently a Junior at University of South Carolina – Columbia in the Darla Moore School of Business majoring in accounting and want to specialize in Tax. I am a member of the Rising Scholars program at DMSB. In my spare time, I enjoy gaming on the computer that I built in high school, playing my keyboard, and baking as a new hobby.

My name is Sonner Ward and I am a junior at Clemson University. I am currently double majoring in Economics and Environmental Natural Resources. I enjoy playing soccer and golf, hiking, being outdoors, and going to Clemson football games! I am very thankful for this opportunity and Go Tigers!
